Are you getting excited?  I know we all are, and their is a lot to do in the next 27 days.  Soldier Assignments.  Packing.  Passports.  Preparing your uniform.  Here are some suggestions for packing and souvenir shopping.

Only bring what you need.  Remember we are only going for 8 days, so you’re only required enough Imageclothes to last you for that amount of time.  Also, don’t forget our uniform takes up some considerable space.  So be mindful.  Also, remember whatever you buy has to fit in your suitcase or be suitable for your carry-on luggage.

We will have some shopping time while you are over there, but it’s not a shopping trip so don’t expect to be carting around bags from Louis Vitton or Cartier Diamonds.  Keep your souvenirs small and manageable.  Remember you will have to carry it with you throughout the trip and make sure you have the necessary room to bring it back in your luggage.  Post cards are great momentos because they are the best pictures of anything you will see.  Books are also nice, but remember they are heavy.  If you’re going to buy chocolate in Belgium go ahead, just remember it can add up.  Avoid anything considerably bulky.  Lighters and other paraphernalia is not permitted.
